Twenty-two year old rookie Kevin Budden proved the hero for North Harbour on a pivotal third day of the Toro Interprovincial title in Nelson today.

 

Budden, two-down at the turn, blasted five birdies on the back nine to grab a 2 and 1 win over New Zealand representative Daniel Pearce (Hawkes Bay) to give Harbour a crucial 3-2 victory at Greenacres Golf Club.
