What is Ocloc and how does it work?
Ocloc is an engineered polyethylene clamp which fastens around a broken post forming a permanent repair, allowing the damaged post to remain in the trellis system. No need to remove wires, prune vines or move irrigation! Ocloc’s springlike design flexes under the weight of vines, the forces of wind and withstands intense vibration that posts are subjected to by mechanical harvesting.
Fitting Ocloc is a one person job; the clamp is secured with four bolts using a socket driver, leaving the post even stronger than before the damage occurred.
Ocloc’s finer details:
• Available in 3 commonly used post sizes: 75mm, 95mm and 120mm.
• Can also be used for half and quarter round posts.
• Manufactured from food grade density polyethylene which is UV stabilised to withstand harsh NZ conditions.
• Repairing CCA treated posts ensure that organic certification can be maintained.
• 3 year warranty.
It is estimated that using Ocloc can save as much as 50% of post replacement costs!
