Using a brushcutter for long period of time generally puts a lot of pressure on your arms, shoulders and lower back – but with the backpack the weight is evenly distributed, and the only thing left to carry with my arms is the handle and let me tell you that is very light. Also the thick, heavy duty straps with firm padding well are designed to distribute the weight of the unit across your shoulders and hips.
Sometimes a backpack can limit mobility and bending and twisting around isn’t easy going. Not the case for Oleo-Mac, I was pleasantly surprised by the range of movement and freedom possible with this Backpack Brushcutter.
I highly recommend the 453 BP ERGO brushcutter backpack for larger jobs that are on steep sloping ground, and for cleaning banks, undergrowth and ditches. Apart from the fact it does a great job, the comfort and movement the Backpack allows is a real seller for me. Plus it’s made by Oleo-Mac which always means superior Italian Performance.

Carry your blower with ease
Using even a standard light weight hand held blower can put a lot of strain on one side of your body and your back. With Oleo-Mac’s Blower Backpack you have heavy duty shoulder straps taking the bulk of the weight off your hands and all that is left to hang onto is the gun and nozzle which are very light. This backpack makes it much easier to carry such a powerful blower around.
I found the level of noise the Blower outputs is really quiet, even on starting which is most impressive. In fact the low noise level is quite misleading as you would think a quieter machine would have less power – not the case for this blower. The speed and power behind this blower certainly do the job, at 20m3/min – 1200m3/h air volume and 90m/sec air speed it has certainly got a lot of go to it.
If you need to tidy a large area the Oleo-Mac Backpack Blower BV162 is the tool especially with its lightweight backpack, it definitely makes the job easier. And of course quieter with its low noise level output. Oleo-Mac is a quality brand, and this is a quality product.
