Deep-tine aeration relieves soil compaction at lower soil levels than typical aeration. The tines fracture the soil, creating channels through the root zone so oxygen, water and nutrients can reach deeper into the soil profile. A solid deep tine does that without pulling a core, so surface disruption stays lower.
