Deep-tine aeration relieves soil compaction at lower soil levels than typical aeration. The tines fracture the soil, creating channels through the root zone so oxygen, water and nutrients can reach deeper into the soil profile. This coring tine also pulls a plug, so you get that depth plus a core removed from the profile.
