North Island Irrigation Manager
Everett Darlington is the North Island Irrigation Manager for the Irrigation Division, bringing more than 18 years’ experience in the recreational facilities and services sector across New Zealand and internationally. An experienced agronomist, Everett has a strong background in irrigation system management, turf performance, and asset optimisation for high-use environments.
Prior to his role in irrigation management, Everett spent 12 years in the golfing industry, holding both managerial and superintendent positions. This hands-on operational experience provides him with a practical, end-user understanding of irrigation performance, maintenance requirements, and long-term system sustainability.
Everett holds a Sports Turf Management Certificate and is a graduate of Massey University with a Diploma of Rural Studies, specialising in sustainable development and plant protection.
