The TORO Greensmaster eFlex 1021 is among the quietest and most efficient walk greensmowers on the market today. Built with the automated EZ-Turn feature that automatically slows the mower down at the end of a mowing pass and speeds it up again on the return pass without sacrificing the quality of cut, resulting in better control and reduced turf damage. This all-electric greensmower harnesses the power of lithium-ion battery technology and takes electrical efficiency to a new level, allowing operators to mow approximately 7 greens (35,000 sq. ft.) on a single charge. 

The Dual Precision Adjustment (DPA) cutting units – featuring Toro’s all new EdgeSeries™ reels combine to deliver a consistent, high quality cut and superior after cut appearance, while reducing maintenance with improved reel edge retention. Built-in Clip Adjustments

Each eFlex walker includes six - easy to configure - clip rate options to accommodate specific cutting heights and playability requirements for every event or desired playing condition. Three color-coded pulleys can quickly be rearranged, with a single wrench, to match your reels and clip rates to achieve the desired result.

Proven Flex Suspension (Patented)

Superior contour following capability utilises an integrated "Flex" linkage system to allow cutting units to pivot around the center of the front roller to master undulations and prevent side-to-side scrubbing of the playing surface.

Advanced Lithium-Ion Battery Management

Lithium-ion battery power provides enough charge to mow up to 45,000 square feet on a single charge! One battery is designed to last five years and to deliver ample power to cut greens and acommodate key accessories such as groomers and light kits. No CO2 emissions, no toxic waste to dispose of, no liquid levels to monitor, no terminals to clean, no battery pack change outs during the work day and the worry-free list goes on.

Dual Precision Adjustment (DPA) Cutting Units

Precision machined cutting units maintain levelness and hold adjustments. Dual Precision Adjustment (DPA) cutting units – featuring Toro’s all new EdgeSeries™ reels combine to deliver a consistent, high quality cut and superior after cut appearance, while reducing maintenance with improved reel edge retention. DPA allows quick bedknife to reel adjustment. Harder reel and bedknife steel retain a sharp edge up to 3 times longer to minimise the need and frequency of adjustments, backlapping and grinding leading to healthier turf that stays green.

E-Z Turn™ Productivity

The patented EZ-Turn™ feature, if turned on, will automatically slow the unit down when turning at the end of a mowering path and automatically speed the mower up again after a controlled turn on the return pass. Improved control in turns reduces damage to turf, particularly in tight turns near a hazard, and produces better alignment on the return pass without sacrificing productivity.

Adjustable Telescoping Handle

The telescoping handle can be adjusted up or down for enhanced operator comfort and to accommodate tall or short operators.

Quiet Operation

Noiseless operation means that you can mow whenever you want without bothering nearby residents or other bystanders. Quiet operation enables operators to detect when reel malfunctions or potential reel damage occurs which could adversely affect the quality of cut and/or turf health.

ENGINE Subaru® Heavy-Duty Industrial, 4.3 HP (3.2 kW) @ 4000 rpm, OHC, 4-cycle, CARB, EPA, EU, China certified petrol engine with integral lighting coil.
Displacement: 7.7 cu in. (126 cc). Cast iron cylinder sleeve. Electronic ignition. Maximum noise suppression muffler.
FUEL CAPACITY .79 gallons (3.0 litres) regular grade unleaded petrol.
TRANSMISSION Engine powered multi-disk clutch to the first stage of a multi-ribbed poly-V belt drive. The traction drums are belt driven through a spur gear planetary differential with integral band style service/parking brake.
MAINTENANCE No grease zerks, sealed bearing design reduces daily maintenance.
GROUND SPEED Mowing speed: 1.6-3.7 mph (2.5-5.9 km/h). Transport speed (maximum): 5.7 mph (9.2 km/h).
TRACTION DRUM Dual cast aluminium 7.5” (19 cm) diameter with taper on outer 2” (5 cm).
CONTROLS Engine Controls: Recoil starter, choke, fuel shut-off. Handle Controls: on/off (‘ignition’) switch, hour meter, throttle, dual function traction/reel control lever, operator presence control, service/park brake lever, on/off light switch (optional blank slot in console).
HANDLE Loop style, molded contour upper, 1” (2.5 cm) diameter lower tube. Two angular adjustments and lift assist kickstand with 2.0 inches of telescoping adjustment.
TRANSPORT TYRES/KICKSTAND Quick detachable 3.00/3.25 x 6 pneumatic. Lift assist kickstand standard equipment. Loop style with service position lock, 1” (2.5 cm) diameter tube.
REEL CONSTRUCTION 8-Blade Reel: 5” (12.7 cm) diameter, 8 high carbon steel blades welded to 5 steel spiders (no 8-blade, 18” available).
11-Blade Reel: 5” (12.7 cm) diameter, 11 high carbon steel blades welded to 5 steel spiders.
14-Blade Reel: 5” (12.7 cm) diameter, 14 high carbon steel blades welded to 5 steel spiders.
SUSPENSION Semi-floating cutting unit separable from drive unit, pivoting around reel centerline (pitch axis) and pivoting around bedknife centerline side to side (roll axis).
WIDTH OF CUT 21" (53.3 cm)
HEIGHT OF CUT Cutting height is adjusted on front roller by two vertical screws and held by two locking cap screws. Bench height of cut range is .062"-.297" (1.6-7.5 mm) with high height of cut kit, range is .297"-1.0" (7.5-25.4 mm). Effective height of cut may vary depending on turf conditions and bedknife installed.
CLIP FREQUENCIES Reel drive consists of three pulleys of different diameter. 6-clip adjustments per reel, based on pulley configuration.
REEL DRIVE Transmission reel clutch shaft to a drive shaft with a pair of beam style couplers.
CUTTING UNIT CONSTRUCTION Machined cast aluminium frame.
CUTTING UNIT ADJUSTMENT/SERVICE Cutting unit detachable from traction unit. Dual screw “click” adjustments to reel. Front roller height of cut adjustment. Sealed stainless steel reel bearings.
BEDKNIFE EdgeMaxTM Microcut Bedknife is standard on 11 & 14-blade cutting unit. EdgeMax bedknife is heat treated solid tool steel.
GRASS BASKET Molded polyethylene with integrated graphics highlighting overlap guidelines, vented for high-efficiency collection.
ROLLERS Front Roller: Optional – must be ordered. Rear Roller: Aluminium full roller 2” (5.1 cm) diameter with sealed bearings.
WORKING WEIGHT 260 lbs. (118 kg) w/basket, w/o transport tyres and groomer.
